What If Jar Jar Binks Was in Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?

With Star Wars and Marvel both under the Disney umbrella, I often think about the possibilities for a crossover between them. Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness featured Dr. Strange traversing the multiverse, which makes it the perfect film to include a Star Wars crossover, and there couldn’t be a wilder character to make an appearance than Jar Jar Binks.

Imagine the scene in the film where Doctor Strange meets the Illuminati. Mister Fantastic, Mordo, Captain Carter, Black Bolt, Captain Marvel, and Professor X are all seated, and among them, Jar Jar Binks as an Illuminati member. The clumsy Gungan who somehow stumbled his way into galactic politics, has now stumbled his way into multiverse politics as well.

And then, the confrontation with Wanda Maximoff. After Wanda defeats the other Illuminati members, Jar Jar reveals his secret. He unleashes force lightning and attacks with a red lightsaber, revealing that he was secretly a Sith Lord. Wanda and Jar Jar have an epic battle, but in the end Jar Jar’s fate is the same as the rest of the Illuminati…death.

But hold on, in a post-credits scene, the dust settles on the ravaged Illuminati headquarters. We see a lone figure emerge from the shadows. It’s Jar Jar. Not a scratch on him. A sinister grin spreads across the Gungan’s face.

Jar Jar Binks, the puppet master revealed, the fake death a mere step in his grand plan. He has consolidated his power and eliminated those who might have questioned his authority. The multiverse isn’t safe.
