Mario Kart Ultimate: A Dream Roster

A Fan’s Wish for the Next Kart Racing Adventure

The Mario Kart series has been a staple of Nintendo gaming for decades, providing endless hours of fun and competitive racing. With each new installment, fans eagerly anticipate the new tracks, characters, and power-ups. “Mario Kart 8” introduced the idea of including characters from other Nintendo franchises. It let players race as characters from “The Legend of Zelda”, “Animal Crossing”, and “Splatoon”. My wish is for the next game to take that idea to the next level.

A Dream Team

Here are a few suggestions:

  • Captain Falcon: The high-speed racer from the F-Zero series would be a natural fit for Mario Kart. There are already F-Zero inspired stages in “Mario Kart 8” after all.
  • Kirby: The pink puffball is a Nintendo icon. Imagine karts based off the machines from Kirby’s own racer, “Kirby’s Air Ride”, or tracks based off of Kirby locales like Dreamland or the Halberd.
  • Samus Aran: The legendary bounty hunter from the Metroid series could bring her powerful weaponry and a kart version of her iconic gunship.
  • Pikachu: The electric mouse Pokémon could add a jolt of excitement to the races.
  • R.O.B.: He was in “Mario Kart DS” but has not appeared since. This classic Nintendo robot should return.

While this is just a fan’s dream, it’s exciting to think about the potential of the Mario Kart series. With each new game, Nintendo continues to push the boundaries of kart racing, and we can only hope that our dream of an ultimate roster will one day become a reality.

What are your thoughts on this dream roster? Are there any other characters you’d like to see in the next Mario Kart game? Let us know in the comments below!
