I’m a die-hard fan of the Super Smash Bros. series, and have played every game in the series. A dream idea of mine is for Nintendo to release a package that includes every game in the series.
The Games
- Super Smash Bros. (1999)
- Super Smash Bros. Melee (2001)
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl (2008)
- Super Smash Bros. for 3DS (2014)
- Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (2014)
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (2018)
Why?
Such a collection would be a love letter to the series’ history, allowing players to relive their favorite moments. It would be the ultimate celebration of the Smash Bros. community, bringing together fans of all ages and backgrounds.
Only two of the games in the series are playable on the Switch – the original and Ultimate. That means the other games are stuck on older consoles, making it difficult for newer gamers to get a chance to play them. A collection will allow everyone to experience the series.
The Precedent
Nintendo recently released “Super Mario 3D All Stars” which was a three game collection of 3D Mario games. Why not do the same for Smash?
Extra Content
To make the collection even more special, Nintendo could include extra content.
