Marvel vs. Predator: Who Will Be Hunted?

I’m often thinking about potential crossovers, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe has tackled some pretty wild threats. On that topic, there’s one iconic movie monster that I think could be a huge threat to the heroes of the MCU. I’m talking about the Predator. There is massive potential in such a crossover! Marvel has released Predator comics before, but a crossover comic and ideally a television series would be fantastic.

The potential of the predators entering the Marvel universe is there, so the question becomes which Marvel characters should face off with the iconic Predators. Here are my top three picks.

1. Spider-Man

Spider-Man would be a great match-up against a predator. He might be used to being hunted by Kraven the Hunter, but a predator would be much more threatening and terrifying. Just imagine Spider-Man web swinging through New York, being chased by a Predator while protecting civilians caught in the crossfire. His spider-sense would be constantly tingling.

2. Deadpool

Deadpool is no stranger to violence, so pairing him with a predator is a perfect match. Deadpool’s insane survivability with his healing factor would give him a fighting chance. In fact his survivability and his constant quips, might infuriate the Predator enough to give Deadpool the upper hand.

3. Doctor Strange

The idea of hunting a powerful sorcerer would surely appeal to a Predator. Dr. Strange using magic to combat a Predator would be novel and a spectacle to see. Imagine Dr. Strange using a portal to escape, only to be surprised that the Predator is still hunting him.

This crossover would be the perfect blend of action, horror, and Marvel’s signature humor. It’s the kind of unexpected mashup that would have audiences on the edge of their seats.
