Remember the catchy song and the hilariously morbid animations of Dumb Ways to Die? Well, imagine that expanded into a full-blown, darkly comedic animated television series!
Dumb Ways to Die originated as a music video published in 2012 by Metro Trains Melbourne to promote train and general safety. The song went viral and there have been multiple games made based on it. I think that an animated series would be the next realm to take the property.
This series would depict the misadventures of our belovedly inept characters, exploring their unique brand of stupidity in greater detail. It would be an anthology series, including many humorous characters (and many dumb ways to die). I think that 6 episodes would be great, and that Netflix would be the perfect place to stream the series.
A Note to the Creators:
This is just a starting point. The possibilities for this series are endless. Embrace the absurdity, don’t shy away from the dark humor, and most importantly, have fun with it!
