My Wish for TV: An Animated Magic Tree House Series!

The Magic Tree House was one of my favorite book series as a child and as I read through the series a thought would often cross my mind – the potential of an animated series adaptation.

For those unfamiliar, the series follows the incredible adventures of siblings Jack and Annie, who discover a magical tree house that can transport them to any time or place. From prehistoric jungles to ancient Egypt, from the Titanic to the moon landing, and so much more. And that’s precisely why this series would be absolute gold as an animated show.

Endless Story Potential

With over 50 books in the main series , there are so many exciting stories just waiting to be animated. Each book offers a unique historical period, scientific concept, or journey, perfect for a self-contained episode.

Educational and Entertaining

The Magic Tree House books have always cleverly woven educational elements into their adventurous narratives. An animated series could further enhance this by providing engaging visuals and clear explanations, making learning fun for kids of all ages.

The Format

My thought is that each book should be its own episode. This would allow for the stories to be told with the detail and pacing they deserve.

So, to any producers or streaming services out there who might be listening: please consider bringing the magic of the tree house to our screens!
